From dogs, credit cards and flip-flops: Here is our little A to Z for your holiday at Woodridge.

Allergy sufferers

If you have any allergies, intolerances or special needs regarding food or bedding, please send us an e-mail before your arrival. We will take care of it.

Barbecue

A covered barbecue area is located at the reception chalet. Make a reservation and enjoy cooking dinner with a modern gas barbecue. Due to the risk of fire, this is the only place where the use of a barbecue is permitted at Woodridge.

Bread and Bakery Delivery Service

See under “breakfast basket.”

Breakfast basket

Every day between 8am and 8.30am, we will place a breakfast basket with organic delicacies from the local farm shop on the doorstep of your chalet. This is included in the overnight price - with refills as required. Find out what's in the basket here.
Oven-fresh breads, rolls and pastries can be ordered daily. These are delivered with the breakfast basket each morning and are charged separately, payable on departure.

Please order your bread before 11am the day before you would like it delivered, via woodridge.myoha.at. You will receive a code for your chalet, which will enable you to order online, even before your arrival.

Equipment for babies and children

Do you need a cot, a high-chair or an extra bed for an older child? Send us an email before your arrival and we will provide everything you need.

Kitchen equipment

There is a fully-equipped kitchen in your chalet. We’re fairly sure we’ve thought of everything, from a dishwasher to a large freezer, from a Nespresso coffee machine and a Sodastream to a toaster, kettle and even fondue dishes. You’ll also find salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, sugar, coffee as well as dishwasher detergent, dishwasher tabs, kitchen roll, toilet paper, cleaning cloths and tea towels. There’s also a corkscrew and plenty of wine glasses. Just saying.

Black Bear: max. 4 people and one child up to the age of 10

Silver Wolf: max. 2 adults and one child up to the age of 10 with an extra children’s bed in the same room

Requesting a Particular Chalet

We will be more than happy to reserve the same chalet you stayed in last year. Or the particular house friends have recommended. Just as long as it is available…

Reservation confirmation

Upon receiving your booking enquiry, Woodridge will reply to you by email with an offer. To accept this offer, please reply to our mail. We will then send you a written booking confirmation. Payment of a deposit of 30% of the total price is required to guarantee a booking.

Shopping

Woodridge is situated about 1.5 kilometres from the centre of Werfenweng. The local supermarket and farm shop in the village centre are an easy 20-minute walk away. Please note that both stores are closed on Sundays.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the chalets.

Toboggans / Sledges

Your chalet has its own sledge.

Towel change

We will change your towels as you wish. Just leave a comment in OHA web app when ordering your breakfast rolls and pastries. Fresh towels will then be delivered to your door. For environmental reasons, we kindly ask you to refrain from daily towel changes.

Sauna

You can use the sauna in your chalet at any time. A selection of fine infusion fragrances are available at the reception. The emergency call button is active from 8am to 9pm. Please note that outside of these times, guests use the sauna at their own risk.

Ski Area

Our guests can look forward to a real “ski-in, ski-out” experience. Woodridge is situated directly on the wonderfully groomed slopes of Werfenweng; a ski area that is still pleasantly relaxed. The beginner pistes are literally steps from our reception chalet, while the main “Ikarus” cable car is located around 200m away. Or a 30-second ski from Woodridge!

Vegetarian / Vegan

We will be happy to fill your breakfast basket according to your wishes. Please let us know by email before your arrival if you have specific dietary preferences.

Whirlpool

You can use the whirlpool at your chalet at any time and as often as you like. The view of the Eiskogel and the Tennengebirge mountains is enchanting by both day and night. Please note that it takes about 20 minutes for the whirlpool to fill (automatically) with fresh water, which is heated to around 39 degrees Celsius. The whirlpool will also automatically drain and disinfect itself after every use.

Winter tyres / snow chains

In Austria, winter tyres are compulsory in the winter months from 1st November to 15th April. We recommend that you have snow chains in your car with you.
